Standing Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son received Professor Sin Doo Lee.

At the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son informed the delegation about basic features of the province's potentials and advantages, as well as the provincial socio-economic development and the cooperation between Bac Giang and the Republic of Korea.

He said that many Korean enterprises are investing in Bac Giang province in many fields, especially mechanical, textile, electronics and some other projects in the field of services, urban infrastructure.

To date, Bac Giang has 151 FDI projects invested by Korea, with a total registered capital of over $ 600 million. Korean businesses are operating quite stably and efficiently. Many investment projects of Korean enterprises in operation have contributed positively to the province's socio-economic development, employment, labor productivity, technology transfer and Modern management experience for the province.

In addition, Korea has been sending experts and volunteers to support training and vocational training for the youth in the province, contributing to improve the quality of education and training of the province.

Standing Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son expects that in the coming time, Bac Giang province will continue to receive the investments and support from Korea, especially in ecotourism, resort and development of hi-tech agricultural production in accordance with food hygiene and safety standards in order to raise the value of agricultural products in the province.
