Prof. Sunghoon Kwon was chosen as the 2018 award recipient of Pioneers of Miniaturization Prize, which is sponsored by Lab On a Chip journal and MicroTAS Conference.

This award is presented to a single winner annually selected since 2006 by the renowned journal Lab On a Chip, and the award recipient gives a lecture on his or her research in general at MicroTAS Conference. Prof. Sunghoon Kwon is the first person in Korea and second in Asia to receives this award.
