Mandatory Seminar course for Graduate students, 2013 1st semester
MANDATORY SEMINAR FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS
A. To complete a 3-unit mandatory seminar course, you must attend a series of seminars
in two consecutive semesters.
In the first semester, you must audit, without enrollment, the seminar course matching with his/her major field.
You must contact the TA of your intention to audit so that the TA can record your attendance
and pass the information to the TA of the seminar in the next semester.
In the second semester, you should enroll in the same course.
When enrolled, you must make a presentation of your research results in addition to attending seminars.
B. Students must fulfill 10 seminar attendances each semester.
Attendance Confirmation Sheet should be submitted to the TA in charge after each seminar.
In case the regular seminar course cannot offer 10 presentations,
you can make up by attending thesis defenses. (Master students can attend master
or Ph.D thesis defenses and Ph.D. students can attend only Ph.D. thesis defense)
C. English Presentation Skill Seminar
English Presentation Skill Seminar will be given on 8th March.
All students who are going to present this coming semester should attend to learn
how to make a good English presentation.
