This is the shcedule for Oualifying Test(QT) for 2013. 1st.
This is the notice for the students who are going to graduate in August 2013.
Those who want to take a QT, refer to this information below.
(As you know, before the period of registration for application you have to submit your teps score! this is first thing you havt to do.)
1. Schedule for QT : 2013. March. 9th(Sat.)09:00-11:00(for 2 hours)
Place(tentative) :
Master’s degree : Bldg,301 Room number 302
PhD : Bldg,301 Room number 305
2.Period of registration for QT : 2013. Feb. 15th(Fri)-20th (Wed) (for 4days) until 17:00
3.How to submit your documents
In the Period of registration, get on this website(http://eng.snu.ac.kr/affairs) , and register application, and then you have to submit your documents(refer to number 4 below) to the office.( Bldg 301 Room 3019)
(let’ say that you register your application and fill out all the thing on the websit. But you do not take a QT. In that case, You must get on that site again, and delete. or call Miss Joe who is in charge of QT in this offce office(880-1531. Miss Joe) and let her know this situation.)
4.The documents you have to submit (to the office) is below.
1)application document
2) ) Paper Results print(논문게재실적환산점수)( print it out)
Even though you get zero score , you have to submit it.
3)Print out First page of your thesis
4)성폭력 성희롱 예방교육수료증 certificate(Completion of Sexual Assault Prevention Seminar)
[http://help.snu.ac.kr)/ (tel: 5073)] if it has passed one year since you get that certificate, you have to reissue it.)
5)환경안전교육이수증재발급 (inquiry of the reissuance for The environmental protection and safety course:

You have to submit your teps score by Feb.14(before the period of registration for application document)
Attached are sample questions from previous tests(지난학기기출문제) and paper Results(논문게재실적환산점수).
If you are taking Master Course Qualifying Exam, you should solve two problems(two subjects).
If you are taking PhD Course Qualifying Exam, you should solve three problems(three subjects).
You have to bring your students card.
You can use a calculator. But do not share with your friends.
You can take your test paper after the end of test.
※ QT of \"Display Engineering Course\" will be taken in LCD and 3D. (디스플레이 공학 과목은 이번 시험에는 주로 LCD, 3D에서 출제될 예정입니다.)
