The Spring Semester 2016 is about to begin, and we would like to use this opportunity to inform you about events and activities organized for the international community of the College of Engineering at Seoul National University. We extend a special welcome to the international members joining us as degree or exchange students in this semester. We are very happy to have you at our college, contributing to a growing international community on our campus and bringing in valuable expertise and ideas from abroad.

As usual, we start the semester with the student orientation and pizza sharing party this coming Friday, March 4th. The informational part begins at 16:00 and targets foremost students who are new at the College of Engineering. All international students are invited for the Pizza Party starting at 16:45. We are happy to be able to provide free Korean language classes for beginner and intermediate levels again this semester. The classes start in the third week of March; more information and an application form is attached to this email.

2. Korean Language Classes

▶ Course Levels: Level 1 (for beginners starting with the Korean alphabet) and Level 2 (intermediate)

▶ Course Duration: twice a week for two hours, 10 weeks (March 14 ~ May 20)
     beginner course: Tuesdays + Thursdays, 19:00~21:00 (first class: March 15. by Ms. KM Kang, HS Kim)
     intermediate course: Wednesdays + Fridays, 19:00~21:00 (first class: March 16, by Ms. YM Kim)

▶ Sign-up Fee : KRW100,000 (first class, 100% refunded if you attend over 80% of the classes)
