MANDATORY SEMINAR FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS
A. To complete a 3-unit mandatory seminar course, you must attend a series of seminars in two consecutive semesters. In the first semester, you must audit, without enrollment, the seminar course matching with his/her major field. You must contact the TA of your intention to audit so that the TA can record your attendance and pass the information to the TA of the seminar in the next semester.
In the second semester, you should enroll in the same course. When enrolled, you must make a presentation of your research results in addition to attending seminars.
B. Students must fulfill 10 seminar attendances each semester. Attendance Confirmation Sheet should be submitted to the TA in charge after each seminar.
In case the regular seminar course cannot offer 10 presentations, you can make up by attending thesis defenses. (Master students can attend master thesis defenses and Ph.D. thesis defenses, Ph.D. students can attend only Ph.D. thesis defense)
