SNU Plus Mentoring Program

1. Introduction

 The SNU Plus Mentoring is a program for the international community of Seoul National University. The SNU Plus Mentoring program will help you adjust to your academic and personal live at Seoul National University and in Korea by pairing you up with experienced Korean and international mentors.

  - Application period: until Friday, September 15, 2023

  - Mentoring period: Wednesday, September 27 ~ Friday, December 15, 2023

  - Eligibility

  Category Faculty Graduate Students
Mentor
 
SNU full-time
professors
(any nationality)
Enrolled for more than 2 semesters (any nationality)
Education Certificate of Human Rights Center
Mentee
 
SNU international
full-time professors
 
Enrolled international students who haven’t participated in this mentoring program
(including new international students)
Education Certificate of Human Rights Center

  Students who have already participated in this program as a mentee may still b be selected if there are reasons deserving special consideration.

Participants are expected to participate in this program till the end

  - Announcement of groups: Thursday, September 21, 2023 (tentative)

  - Orientation: Mon, September 25 or Tue, September 26, 15:00 ~ 17:00

                       Attendance of the orientation is mandatory.

  - Benefits: Activity expenses

                    Each team must submit the original receipts with the activity report

2. Notes

- All groups are required to submit

- at least three activity reports during the mentoring program

- a final activity report and all original expense receipts at the end of the program

- All mentors and mentees are required to participate in the orientation

- False information in the activity reports could lead to the suspension of mentoring activity, confiscation of the budget, and disadvantages of participating in other OIA activities
