Education

Yong-Kweon KIM received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Seoul National University in 1983 and 1985,respectively, and the Dr. Eng. degree from the University of Tokyo in1990.

Career

In 1990, he joined the Central Research Laboratory of Hitachi Ltd. in Tokyo as a researcher and worked on actuators of hard disk drives. In 1992, he joined Seoul National University, where he is currently a Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
