About the Laboratory & Research Area

In the Perception and Intelligence Lab, we perform research towards the technology to recognize and estimate the object or situation by processing information obtained from various sensor data including image. These techniques are applied to video surveillance systems, inspection devices, and robots. In particular, we are aiming at technologies such as motion detection, human and vehicle recognition, abnormal situation, and behavior recognition that adapt to environmental changes through probabilistic learning and deep learning.

- 딥러닝 (VAE, GAN, CNN, LSTM 등)에 기반한 컴퓨터 비전 연구
- 시간과 날씨 변화(구름, 눈, 비, 안개 등), 장소에 관계없이 감시 대상의 지속적인 탐지
- 감시 대상의 크기와 모양 변화, 가려짐 등의 방해 동작에서도 지속적인 추적
- 감시 대상의 움직임 분석을 통한 비정상적인 행동 및 상황 탐지
- 환경적 영향으로 감시가 열악한 상황의 영상을 감시 시스템에 적합하도록 영상 보정 및 향상
- 이동형 카메라에서 강인한 탐지 성능과 추적 성능 확보
