About the Laboratory & Research Area

▶ Introduction of Lab.
The Semiconductor Materials and Device Laboratory, under the guidance of Professor Jong-Ho Lee, is actively engaged in research related to gas sensors, non-volatile memory (NVM), ferroelectric-based memory and synaptic devices, and neuromorphic systems. In pursuit of high-density NVM implementation, we are conducting research on various 3D stacked structures of SONOS (silicon-oxide-nitride-oxide-silicon) flash memory and materials and devices based on ferroelectrics. Additionally, we are exploring the fabrication of FET-type gas sensors using oxide semiconductors as sensing materials and integrating them with CMOS technology. Recently, we have been pursuing research aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and reliability by integrating gas sensor technology with neuromorphic systems.
