SNU College of Engineering announced the election of professor Kukjin Chun (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering) as the vice president of IEEE Member and Geographic Activities Board.
The Korean Academy of Science and Technology, which is an institute for scholars in the field of science and technology, announced on the 2nd that emeritus professor of SNU Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Min-Koo Han(Fellow) will become its next president.
Made in Korea autonomous vehicle ‘SnuVER’ started delivering packages in the center of Silicon Valley, the land of innovation. With Ace Hardware, a large retail chaining company with 5000 stores, a pilot delivery service project with autonomous vehicles was launched at the start of this month.
Professor Yongtaek Hong was selected as the winner of Okawa Grant Award given by the Okawa Foundation for Information and Telecommunications of Japan. He received the award at the ceremony that was held in Tokyo on November 7th.
